In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Land of Confusion.”

Neither English nor Math,

Not even History or Geography,

Though I admit I always had some trouble recalling dates,

Science was not too difficult either,

Physics, Chemistry and Biology were a breeze,

Although I never go around to balancing chemical equations

Or drawing anatomy too well; I traced!

It was the second and third languages,

Marathi and Hindi, that were my bugbear.
