I’m not much for baseball,

I think it lasts too long.

This must be bizarre

Coming from a cricket fiend,

Where a match could go all five days.

It’s not that I don’t comprehend the play.

It’s just that I’d rather  not watch but strike.

Sprint across all the bases ,

And sneak a home run or two.

And walking off with a home run,

Now that’s an idea!
