I’m a stranger,

In my own city.

Back from afar.

Been here a while,

But still feeling bizarre.

Home, but not  quite all here.

I’m not yet accustomed to the atmosphere.

It’s true the world’s a sphere,

I sometimes wish I could disappear.

If you were to come,

You’d feel more welcome.

Than me, than anyone here,

I venture.
